About

Hello.  I am Tafhim Kiani and Point of Contentment is my labour of love and past time.

I was born and raised in the UK, where I currently reside.

I was the digitisation and data conversion manager at The National Archives of UK and Wales for over a decade.  I took voluntary redundancy from this post in late 2018 to pursue my entrepreneurial ambitions.

Writing, for me, has always been a passion and a hobby.  But I have been writing professionally for over a decade now – initially for my government department and then for my own businesses and clients.

So, I have created this platform that is purely focused on one thing and one thing alone, and that is writing.

My experience in writing covers a wide spectrum.

As a manager in the civil services, I was drafting multiple tender documents and business reports on a weekly basis.  Some of my business reports were over 500 pages in length and formed the basis of my department’s outsourcing framework.

I also have experience of creating business plans and carrying out market research in a number of different sectors.

Furthermore, I have always been fascinated by geopolitics and completed a Masters in international relations from Birkbeck College, University of London.

A number of my articles on geopolitics have been published in reputable news sites and translated into various languages.

Increasingly I am being hired by clients to write copy and content for such varied areas as lifestyle, fashion, food, travel and science.

Most of my work comes by word of mouth and repeats customs.

As my writing workload has been expanding, I have teamed up with some other highly experienced and qualified content and copywriters which has meant that here at Point Of Contentment, we do not have a limit of how much work we can take on at any given moment in time.
